905 nm · Class 1 eye-safe · High-rate industrial
600 meters.1,000 per second.
A 1 kHz industrial DToF sensor that drops to 50 Hz on its own when the echo weakens — built for traffic safety, shuttle-vehicle anti-collision and overhead-crane positioning on a 9–36 V rail.
LRF600H — 33 × 34 × 18 mm, 20 ± 2 g.33 × 34 × 18 mm
905 nm · Class 1 eye-safe · Miniature night engine
5 grams.1,200 meters.
The lightest engine in the line: a sealed Ø15.7 × 21.3 mm cylinder that reaches 1,200 m by day and 1,500 m at night — for thermal imagers, night-vision devices and compact civil optics.

01 / RANGE
0 — 3,000 m
One wavelength, seven form factors
Pick the module by the payload, not the datasheet
Every module here is 905 nm, Class-1 and UART-TTL. They differ where it matters to an integrator: reach, weight, and the shape that fits your housing — from a 6 g micro engine to a 3,000 m flagship.
Target, range, accuracy, environment and host limits decide the module. A model name is the output of that conversation, not the input — so we run the same four steps on every enquiry, whether it ends in a standard part or an OEM build.
Target size and reflectivity, required range, accuracy band, update rate, environment and the limits your host imposes.
02
Match
Optical architecture, beam divergence, measurement cadence and the SWaP envelope that will actually fit the payload.
03
Integrate
Mechanics, supply rail, UART-TTL protocol and baud, trigger behaviour and the thermal path through your housing.
04
Verify
Assembly and measured performance against the conditions we agreed — before design release, not after.

SILICON DToF · CLASS 1 · SUB-3 KM
Why 905 nm
The right wavelength for compact, eye-safe ranging
905 nm direct time-of-flight runs on low-cost silicon detectors — which is what makes these modules small, affordable and Class-1 eye-safe at the same time. For sub-3 km night-vision, thermal and UAV work, it is the wavelength that fits the payload.
SiSilicon DToF
Detects on cheap, mature silicon — no exotic receiver, so the module stays compact and cost-effective.
Class 1Eye-safe
905 nm stays Class-1 under IEC 60825-1 — safe to use and align around people, unlike designators.
<3kmSweet spot
Ideal for night vision, thermal clip-ons and UAV gimbals where reach and SWaP have to balance.
1535Step up when
Need longer reach or a wider eye-safe margin? Move to 1535 nm on the ERDI global site.

Built for the dark and the moving
A1
Night vision & thermal sights
Add a precise range readout to a monocular or clip-on without breaking its weight or eye-safety budget. 905 nm stays Class-1 for use around people.
Fit: SPD1200M2 · SPD1200N0 · LR1000B23
A2
UAV & drone payloads
Altitude hold, terrain following and target cueing in EO/IR gimbals where every gram of SWaP is contested. Adaptive output trades refresh for reach mid-flight.
Fit: LRF3000A1 · SPD1200S2G · LR1500E2
A3
Security & surveillance
Perimeter ranging, gate control and trigger sensing with eye-safe emission and IP67 lens cavities for continuous outdoor duty.
Fit: LR1200D23 · LR2000E2 · SPD1200Z2
A4
Industrial monitoring & robotics
Obstacle and level sensing for mobile robots, AGVs and fixed process monitoring — the short-range DToF line adds sub-1,500 m sensors from 1 g alongside the continuous-duty industrial series.
Fit: LRF100H · LR1500E2 · SPD1200S2
A5
Handheld optics
Meter-class ranging for portable instruments and sport optics — from a body small enough to hold in the objective bell.
Fit: LRF3000A1 · LR1000C3 · LR1000E2
A6
Surveying & mapping
Consistent, repeatable readings across a full working day for total stations, laser levels and mapping rigs.

Quality & compliance documents
Review the document, the scope and the product together
A certificate is only meaningful next to its issuing body, its stated scope, the product it names and its validity date. We keep current quality-system and product-compliance documentation on file and supply verification copies for project review.
Quality-system evidence and controlled documentation
Product declarations and test records where applicable
Document preview only. Confirm issuing body, certificate number, scope, named product and current validity before relying on a document.

Built to your spec
Make it yours, from sample to production
We build the modules, so we can change them. Start from a standard model and adapt only what you need — or specify a module from the mechanical envelope out.
01
Mechanical envelope
Custom housing, mounting and connector to drop into your optical assembly.
02
Interface & driver
UART-TTL tuned to your baud and pinout, or custom driver electronics.
03
Firmware behaviour
Measurement cadence, output frame, continuous / triggered modes to suit your host.
04
Logo & packaging
Laser-engraved branding and packaging for a finished OEM product.
The same decision chain we walk with an integrator: understand the physics, turn the mission into a requirement, design the interface, verify it, then live with it in the field. Six stages, each with the notes that belong to it.
ERDI is a Chengdu-based laser manufacturer with regional offices across North America, Canada, Japan, Singapore and Taipei. We make the 905 nm modules, run the calibration, and stand behind every unit — you talk directly to the engineers who build them.
A rangefinder datasheet is easy to write and hard to trust. These are the four rules this site is built on — you can check every one of them on any model page before you talk to us.
01
A figure without its condition is not a figure
Every specification table carries a Source condition column. A maximum range is printed with the target reflectivity and the visibility it was measured under, not on its own.
02
Published prices, published bands
Unit prices on this site are ERDI’s published prices for the entry quantity band. Where ERDI publishes a volume ladder we show the whole ladder; where it does not, we say the bands are agreed in the quotation rather than inventing them.
03
Nothing here answers you automatically
There is no chatbot quoting specifications on this site. A request form reaches an engineer, and the technical conditions, quantity and commercial terms are reviewed by a person before anything is confirmed.
04
No tracking, so nothing to consent to
This site loads no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party scripts — which is why it never asks you to accept cookies. Details in the privacy notice.
