Specifications
Why does every range figure carry a condition next to it?
Because a maximum range is meaningless without one. A module rated beyond 3,000 m is rated against a 70% reflectivity building target in clear air with visibility of at least 4 km. Change the target or the air and the real number changes. Both halves are published together on every model page.
What does the accuracy formula mean at my working distance?
Accuracy is published as a fixed near-range term plus a distance-proportional term, because ranging error genuinely behaves that way. Compute it at the farthest distance you will actually operate at, not at the headline figure. The knowledge base article on accuracy specifications works through several models.
Are the modules eye-safe?
ERDI's 905 nm module lines are Class 1 under IEC 60825-1 — safe for use around people with no viewing restrictions.
Commercial
Is the price on each model page the final price?
It is the published entry-band unit price at the smallest published quantity — not a floor. Shipping and Incoterms are confirmed in the quotation. Only LRF3000A1 has a published volume ladder; for every other model the bands are confirmed in the quotation rather than estimated on the site.
What warranty applies?
Every ERDI module carries a 2-year warranty. Within the first 12 months, any verified manufacturing defect is replaced with a brand-new unit free of charge. A 30-day trial/return window applies from delivery. Technical support is available for the lifetime of the product.
Which sales channels are official?
Direct enquiries through this site reach the factory sales desk in Chengdu. ERDI also operates official stores on Alibaba International, Made-in-China, Amazon. Anything else offering these part numbers is not a channel ERDI operates.
Integration
Can I get a mechanical drawing before ordering?
Yes. STEP and DXF files with the mounting datum are sent against an NDA — request them from the Downloads tab on any model page.
Do you do OEM and ODM work?
Yes. Production is vertically integrated in-house — CNC machining, clean-room assembly and automated per-unit calibration — which is what makes variants practical. Describe the platform and the constraint you cannot move, and we will say plainly whether it is a variant or a new design.
