The three module families

The catalogue divides into three families. They share one measurement principle — 905 nm direct time-of-flight — and differ in format and intended host.

Long-range 905 nm ranging cores in tube and board formats, from 600 m to beyond 3,000 m. These are the modules that go into handheld optics, survey instruments and standalone rangefinders.

Mini and integration modules built to sit inside another instrument: night vision, thermal imagers and gimbal payloads. Selection here is usually decided by envelope and mass before it is decided by range.

Compact direct time-of-flight units for short-range sensing, 9 m to 1,500 m, for embedded and industrial work where the constraint is size and power rather than reach.

The selection guide narrows all 37 modules with four questions: reach, host platform, mass budget and interface. It only ever recommends a module whose published data satisfies the constraint.
